This service has now been replaced along with the 597 by the new Newquay/Truro circular, operating as the 591 (anticlockwise) and 592 (clockwise). The route operates hourly between Newquay and Truro via Treloggan, Crantock, Cubert, Perranporth, Bolingey, Threemilestone, and Treliske Hospital and then continuing to Trispen, St Columb Major and Newquay. Services in the evening and on Sundays also operate via St Agnes. Liskey Hill and Higher Golla are no longer served. Tregundy Estate is also no longer served but passengers looking to avoid walking up the hill from the town can board or alight from the 547 or the 591/592 on St George’s Road at the Tredinnick Way junction.
