From 25th May 2013, extra services will be re-introduced for the Summer period with buses running daily, every two hours between Newquay and St Ives. Additional buses will serve Hayle Towans rather than West Cornwall Retail Park. We are pleased to announce that St Ives Holiday Village (John Fowler at Lelant Downs) will now benefit from a substantial daily service, giving journey opportunities for both St Ives and destinations towards Newquay.

The route operates hourly between Newquay and Truro via Treloggan, Crantock, Cubert, Perranporth, Bolingey, Threemilestone, and Treliske Hospital and then continuing to Trispen, St Columb Major and Newquay. Services in the evening and on Sundays also operate via St Agnes. Liskey Hill and Higher Golla are no longer served. Tregundy Estate is also no longer served but passengers looking to avoid walking up the hill from the town can board or alight from the 547 or the 591/592 on St George’s Road at the Tredinnick Way junction. The route operates hourly between Newquay and Truro via St Columb Major, Indian Queens, Fraddon, Summercourt, Trispen and then continuing to Treliske Hospital, Threemilestone, Bolingey, Perranporth, Cubert, Crantock and Treloggan and Newquay. Services in the evening and on Sundays also operate via St Agnes. The half hourly service formerly provided by the 597 between Newquay and St Columb Major is made up by the new hourly 593 and between St Columb Major and Truro by the new hourly 594. Due to passenger demand, buses serve RAF St Mawgan and Treloy Holiday Park seasonally - however intending passengers can also board or alight at the stops near Trebarber Turn.
