500 - Truro - Helford Passage
via Mylor, Falmouth and Maenporth
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 500, a new Western Greyhound service which replaces the 400 operated by First Devon and Cornwall. It consists of a broadly clock-face, two-hourly service, with improved frequency to Trebah Gardens, Glendurgan Gardens and Helford Passage. Customers arriving on the 500 can get 50% off admission at Trebah and £1 of admission at Glendurgan just by presenting a valid Western Greyhound ticket! Services will usually be operated with easy-access low floor buses.

501 - Penzance - Lands End
via St Buryan
Please note that the former 501 - Newquay to St Ives - has now been renumbered to the 547. For that timetable, please select the 547 from the "quickfind" drop-down menu to your left. Services will recommence on the 547 from 28th March 2010. The new 501 denotes our service between Penzance and Lands End, formally the 1/1A, which we took over operation from First Devon and Cornwall. From the 3rd November, new journeys have been added to enhance the existing service.

510 - Newquay - Exeter
via Wadebridge, Camelford, Launceston and Okehampton.
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, the frequency of buses between Okehampton and Exeter significantly increases due to a revised timetable on the 599 (formally the X90 run by Hookways). The new 510 timetable shows new buses on the 599 and also reflects some retimings. A range of tickets especially for those making regular journeys between Okehampton and Exeter remains available. A standard day return from Okehampton to Exeter is just £4.30. Or, for £4.70, passengers can buy a day return that also includes any onward journey in the Exeter Megarider area. For £19, a weekly ticket is available, giving unlimited journeys between Okehampton and Exeter with Western Greyhound. Or for just £22, buy a weekly ticket offering the same plus onward travel in the Exeter Megarider area. PLEASE NOTE: if you are travelling from Newquay, please remember that the 0705 and 1305 journeys continue to operate on the 597 service, which departs from Stand 1. Adult fares: Newquay to Exeter costs £6 single or £7 day return (day explorer).

519 - Bude - Kilkhampton
via Stratton
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, the 519 is developed to encompass the old 319, operated by First Devon and Cornwall. In effect, the existing 519 is extended up to Hartland and offers journeys designed to connect with Stagecoach 319, providing onward travel to Bideford and Barnstaple. Through tickets are available in both directions.

520 - Bude - Kilkhampton - Morwenstowe

With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 520, a new Western Greyhound service which connects Kilkhampton, Morwenstowe and Crimp with Bude, and also Holsworthy on Wednesdays.

521 - Newquay - St Austell
via Indian Queens, St Dennis and Foxhole
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, the late evening buses and extra Sunday buses on the 521 are withdrawn for the Winter. Combining with the new 522 (which replaces the 22 run by First Devon and Cornwall) a half-hourly service is now provided for passengers travelling between St Dennis and St Austell. 522 - St Austell - Truro

With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 522, a new Western Greyhound service which replaces the 22 operated by First Devon and Cornwall. It consists of a clock-face, hourly service and combines with the 550/1 to provide a half-hourly service between Probus and Truro and also combine with the 521 to provide a half-hourly service between St Dennis and St Austell. Services will usually be operated with easy-access low floor buses.

523 - St Austell - Lostwithiel

With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 523, a new Western Greyhound service which replaces the 24 operated by First Devon and Cornwall. It offers a revised timetable and also connects with the 522 (our new service replacing the 22) to provide onward journeys to Truro. Services will usually be operated with easy-access low floor buses.

524 - St Austell - Fowey
via Bethel, St Blazey, Par and Tywardreath
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 524, a new Western Greyhound service which replaces the evening and Sunday journeys on the 26B operated by First Devon and Cornwall. Services will usually be operated with easy-access low floor buses.

525 - Fowey - St Austell
via Par, Crinnis, Penrice and ASDA
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, the first journey to and from St Austell extend to and from Fowey. During the day, there are now connections with the Fowey Town Bus at Polmear. This service interworks with the enhanced 526 Service, providing cross-town journey opportunities such as Mevagissey to Penrice Hospital. 526 - St Austell - Gorran Haven
via Mevagissey - Heligan Gardens
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, the 526 is developed to encompass the old 26B, operated by First Devon and Cornwall. In effect, the existing 526 timetable is extended to incorporate evening and Sunday buses. There will also be significantly improved services to Gorran Haven daily. Services will usually be operated with easy-access low floor buses. Adult fares: St Austell to Gorran Haven costs £3.10 single or £4.60 day return. 527 - Newquay - Eden Project
via St Stephen - St Austell
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, a later journey from Eden is introduced at 1800 on weekdays. A new Sunday service is also introduced. All buses will now run via Lostwood Road. Adult fares: Newquay to Dairyland Farmworld costs £2.30 single or £3.40 day return. Newquay to The Eden Project costs £4.50 single or £6.50 day return. 528 - St Austell - Stenalees

With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 528, a new Western Greyhound service which supplements the existing provision on the 529 between St Austell and Stenalees. Services will usually be operated with easy-access low floor buses.

The 501 - Newquay to St Ives - has now been renumbered to the 547. (The new 501 denotes our service between Penzance and Lands End, formally the 1/1A operated by First Devon and Cornwall). The 547 will commence running from 28th March 2010. Please note that this service does not operate on Saturdays. Adult fares: Newquay to St Ives costs £5 single or £6.50 day return.

550 - Truro - St Mawes
via Probus, Tregony, Portscatho and St Just-in-Roseland
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 550 (and 551) a new Western Greyhound service which replaces the 50 (and 51) operated by First Devon and Cornwall. A new timetable provides a clock-face hourly journeys. This service combines with the 522 to provide a regular 30-minute headway between Probus and Truro. Services will usually be operated with easy-access low floor buses.

551 - Truro - Veryan
via Probus, Tregony and Portloe
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 551 (and 50) a new Western Greyhound service which replaces the 51 (and 50) operated by First Devon and Cornwall. A new timetable provides clock-face hourly journeys. This service combines with the 522 to provide a regular 30-minute headway between Probus and Truro. Services will usually be operated with easy-access low floor buses.

552 - Wadebridge Town Service

With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, it is with regret that we have withdrawn the 554 (Wadebridge town service). We were operating this route commercially and due to the lack of demand have had to make the difficult decision to cease provision. Please note that the 552, our other town service, remains in operation.

With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, no amendments are made to the 557. Buses continue to serve Crealy Great Adventure Park until 31st October 2009. Save £2 per person on entry with a bus ticket when you present it at Crealy admission! Adult fares: Padstow to St Columb Major costs £2.70 single or £4 day return. A through ticket from Padstow to Truro is available which costs £3.90 single or £5.70 day return.

558 - Newquay - Hendra Tourist Park
via Trencreek and Bedowan Meadows Operating in a circular fashion, buses leave from Newquay Bus Station via Porth Four Turns, St Columb Minor Shop Corner, Quintrell Downs, Hendra Holiday Park, Trencreek, Trerice Drive, Towan Blystra Road and the boating lake before going back to Newquay Bus Station.
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, the 558 is withdrawn for the Winter.

via Trago Mills
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, the 575 no longer serves Menheniot but this part of the journey is replaced by a 2-hourly service on the new 581, running between Liskeard, Menheniot and Torpoint. The remainder of the 575 continues to serve East Tamphouse, St Neot and Trago Mills. For regular buses between Trago Mills, Dobwalls and Liskeard see times for our 593 service.

576 - Bude - Plymouth
via Launceston and Callington
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 576, a new Western Greyhound service which replaces Service 76 run by First Devon and Cornwall. We are also now pleased to announce that, as of 8th November 2009, we are now able to offer daytime journeys from Callington to Plymouth, enabling through travel all the way from Bude to Plymouth. 581 - Liskeard - Torpoint
via Menheniot, Downderry and HMS Raleigh
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, we are delighted to commence running of the 581, a new Western Greyhound service which replaces Service 181 run by First Devon and Cornwall. Developing the existing route, the 581 serves Liskeard station for passengers requiring onward travel by train. Our new timetable has also been designed to interwork with First Devon and Cornwall services from Torpoint going into Plymouth city centre and Derriford Hospital, however we cannot guarantee that their times will remain the same or all connections will be made.

583 - Perranporth - St Agnes - Truro (Saturdays only)

From 25th January 2010, we are delighted to announce a brand new 583 service, operating hourly Mondays to Saturdays. The new service will operate via Goonbell (rather than Presingoll Barns) and will run with easy-access low-floor double decker vehicles. COME AND TRY US FOR FREE! From Monday 25th January until Friday 29th January, climb aboard any 583 bus and try out the new service absolutely free. A fantastic set of fares will then apply from Saturday 30th January, including money-saving weekly tickets. Adult fares: Perranporth to Truro costs £1.70 single or £2.50 day return

596 - Trelander Estate - Truro (Circular)
Trelander Estate - St Clements Street - Castle Street - River Street - Boscawen Street
With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, additional late buses are added to the timetable for the 596 service - a new circular route (as of 1st September 2009) connecting Trelander Estate with Truro town centre. We are providing a fantastic service that boasts a thirty-minute frequency throughout the day on Mondays to Saturdays. In addition, brand new low floor vehicles operate on the route - perfect for passengers wishing to travel with children in pushchairs. The 596 proves extremely convenient, with buses taking Trelander residents right to the centre of Truro. Adult single tickets are £1 (child single 70p) and an adult return is only £1.50 (child return £1). As with other services, children under 5 and passengers presenting valid concessionary passes travel free of charge! Whatsmore, buy either an adult or child return during our first month of service and use it as many times as you like to travel to and from Truro on that day!

With the timetable change on 27th September 2009, the X90 (which we recently took over from Hookways) has been re-numbered to the 599. This service run to a revised timetable with additional journeys between Bude and Holsworthy replacing the old 285, operated by First Devon and Cornwall.
