QUALITY BUS DRIVERS NEEDED FOR TRURO PARK

Western Greyhound will be operating the new high quality Park and Ride service between Threemilestone and Truro
The basic requirements are that you enjoy driving, get on well with people and are smart and reliable.
In addition, we will have some vacancies on our existing bus service team to replace drivers transferring to the Park and Ride service. If you have, or can easily obtain a PCV licence, and have good references, we may be able to offer you a great opportunity.
Most of our service buses are comfortable, modern vehicles under six years old. Most of the shifts are Monday to Saturday daytimes, but if you prefer evening and/or Sunday work, these are also available as we have a flexible shift pattern. The majority of buses work out of Summercourt depot which is centrally situated on the A30 near Newquay with adequate parking, but there are also outstations at Bude, Delabole, Bodmin, Padstow, Liskeard, Looe and Wadebridge for those who live in that vicinity. You work either four longer or five shorter days week on a small roster with mainly Sundays off, and generally you get a long weekend off every six weeks if you want it. Overtime is often available for those that wish to work longer hours and is not compulsory for those that dont. There are also a number of part-time positions if you just fancy doing, say Saturdays or just an odd day or two a week. You can also job share.
If you prefer driving double-deckers, you can apply to go on our double-deck roster where you will be able to drive these vehicles much of the time.
If you are looking for full-time or part-time work, enjoy driving and get on well with people, then give us a call. If you have a PCV licence, some experience and good references, we can offer you a great opportunity. If you do not have a PCV licence and you are suitable, we can train you up subject to certain criteria. We have a low turnover and only limited vacancies, which is different to the driver shortages which we see elsewhere, so that is probably the best recommendation for you to work for us.
